1. Get Started

1.1 How do I register?

To register as a user, click here  or click Login/Register at the top of the Dope website and create an account. We will need your full name, e-mail address and a password (The password should be at least eight characters long. To make it stronger, use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols like ! ” ? $ % ^ & ).

1.2 How do I buy on Dope?

A. Find the product you wish to buy

Keyword search bar is located at the top of almost all the pages throughout the website. You will also find links to browse lists in the left, just below the navigation bar. When you find a product that interests you, click the title or name of the product to see its details, including availability.

B.  Add to cart

Found the products you want to buy? Click on Add to cart. Your shopping cart contains all the products that you have selected to buy. Once you’ve added a product to your shopping cart, you can go back and keep searching and adding to your cart. You can access the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the orange cart button at the top right of any page on the Dope website.

You can also add products to your Wish List, which is a handy list of all the products that you do not want to check out with immediately, or which are out of stock but that you want to remember for later. You can move products between your shopping cart and your Wish List. Products have to be in your shopping cart for you to check out.

C. Checkout

i. Click on the shopping cart icon, review and edit the items in your shopping cart. If happy, click on Proceed to checkout.

ii. Complete your Billing Information

iii. Choose your payment method from our list of payments listed below. For more detail on the payment options below.

1.3 What can I buy on Dope?

You can order and buy fast foods (pizzas, grilled/fried chicken, burgers and calzones), flowers, liquor as well as movies tickets 7 days a week. Supermarkets (groceries) will be introduced early 2020. More exciting products will be introduced on a monthly bases. For delivery times of each products please refer to the respective pages for more details.

1.4 What is Late Nite Liquor?

WE WILL ONLY INTRODUCE LATE NITE LIQOUR (#LNL) MID-2020. With late nite liquor you can afford to order alcohol from the comfort of your home and have it delivered to yours or different address. More late night products will be introduced at a later stage. Late orders can be placed on Friday and Saturday nights as from 20h00 to 02h00 the next morning.

 

2. How do I Pay?

2.1 Cash on Delivery

Pay with Cash on Delivery. Only cash payments below N$350 will be accepted. All transactions above N$350 must be paid with other payment options. Non-payment upon delivery will result in the account & number been blacklisted on our system.

2.2 Ewallet/EasyWallet to 0811284109

Only Wallet payments below N$5,000 will be accepted. Goods will only be dispatched upon receipt of the SMS notification of payment to 0811284109.

2.3 Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT)

You can pay to any one of the following bank accounts. Please complete the order to generate the order number. You can then add the order number as your reference number of the proof of payment

2.4 Paytoday

Please search for Dope Innovation on the Paytoday App. Goods will only be released upon receipt of proof of payment.

2.5 Pay with Wallet

Your credit facility amount will be added to your Wallet. You can then use your Wallet to buy goods online. To apply for credit click here .

 

3. Dope Credit Facility

3.1 What is the Dope Credit Facility?

You can apply for credit on Dope by clicking here  and use it to buy all the products available on the Dope website, starting from Dope foods to Liquor to Supermarket (groceries). The credit facility is granted in terms of the Usury Act, no 73 of 1968. For terms & conditions of the credit facility please click here .

3.2 What do I need to register?

It’s easy, it take 20 minutes to complete the online application form in 3 easy steps. Just have your ID document (ID or Passport), payslip and municipal bill (other proof of residential address – e.g rental agreement) ready for uploading.

3.3 How do I upload the required 3 documents?

Uploading is easy. If you are completing the application form on your phone simply select “Take Photo” to take a picture or select “Photo Library” to choose from your pictures library / gallery or select “Browse” to browse through your documents for documents in PDF format.

3.4 How long does my application take to get approved?

Our approval process takes between 24 to 48 hours should the online application form be completed correctly.

3.5 How much can I apply for?

You can apply for minimum credit of N$500.00. Based on your affordability and the outcome of the credit inquiry, Dope Credit Team will at their discretion approve your credit facility limit. This limit is subject to frequent review and amendment based on your repayments.

3.6 How do I use my Dope Credit Facility?

Your Dope Credit Facility will be added to your Wallet, to view your current balance by clicking here . You can use your Wallet as the payment option when checking out products – if the order is over your Wallet balance products will not be dispatched. You can even transfer some of your credit in your Wallet to another person registered on Dope.

 

4. Cancellation

4.1 Can I cancel my order?

Unfortunately, once placed, orders are final and cannot be cancelled. Placing orders and not completing payment will results in your account been blacklisted on Dope.

 

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 What are the standard delivery times?

You can place an order at any time on the Dope website. The delivery times are however limited as below.

A. Dope Foods

Mondays – Saturdays: 09h00 – 22h00

Sundays & Public Holidays: 09h00 – 14h00

For same day deliveries, please place your order before 20h00 for Monday – Saturday and before 14h00 for Sundays & Public Holidays.

B. Liquor

Mondays – Fridays: 09h00 – 18h00

Saturdays: 09h00 – 13h00

For same day deliveries, please place your order before 18h00 for Mondays – Saturdays and before 13h00 for Saturdays. Orders place after the above hours will be bill as per Late Nite Liqour rates.

C. Late Nite Liquor (TO BE INTRODUCED MID-2020)

Mondays – Thursdays: 18h00 – 23h00

Fridays: 18h00 – 02h00

Saturdays: 13h00 – 02h00

For same day deliveries, please place your order before 18h00 for Mondays – Saturdays and before 13h00 for Saturdays.

D. Flowers

5.2 Where does Dope delivery?

Dope deliveries anywhere in Windhoek for now. Dope will roll out to other cities/towns in Namibia in due course. You can however place the order from anywhere in the world.

5.3 How long will I wait for my order?

The standard delivery times are listed below. We will, however, in most cases deliver  well before the delivery times below. The below is to manage expectation and for you to manage your time.

5.4 Can I change my delivery address?

We unfortunately cannot make changes to your delivery address once your order has been generated and payment has been received.

5.5 What are the delivery cost?

5.6 Can I delivery to a different address?

Yes, in the checkout process, select delivery to different address and proceed to complete the order as normal.

 

6. General

6.1 What happens if a product is out of stock?

If a product goes out of stock, it will reflect as such on the website.  We do our best to prevent sales of products that are out of stock, but due to the digital nature of our business the opportunity exists for an item to go out of stock after an order is placed. If you have already ordered the product on the website when it goes out of stock, we’ll let you know. You will then have the option to be refunded or credited for any amount already paid by you, or you can wait until the product comes into stock again.

6.3 What do I do if I lost my password?

On the Login page click on Forgot your password and enter the email address that your account was registered with and click ‘Submit‘. We will email you a link to this email address which you can click on to reset your password.
